It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. George A. Glover 67, of Hardeeville, SC on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Coastal Carolina Hospital with his family by his side.  Our heartful condolences are extended to the Glover family during their time of bereavement.

In his infinite wisdom and gentle grace, Almighty God reached down from Heaven and whispered ever so quietly to one of his children these words: “Come with me my son for it’s time to go home”

George A. Glover was born on February 22, 1953 in Hardeeville, SC to the late Eula and Walter Glover, Jr. 

He was educated in the public schools of Jasper County, SC, graduating from Matthew E. West High School in 1970.  He Joined St. Stephen A.M.E Church at a very young age under the leadership of the late Reverend M. B. Randall.  

 Upon graduating George entered the United States Army serving  four years  receiving an honorable discharge.  He was employed with the Corps of Engineers and worked many years as a security specialist.

George loved watching sports and was an avid Atlanta Falcons and Braves fan. He also enjoyed watching Westerns.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Glover. Sacred memories will be cherished by his three daughters: Natalie and Keisha Glover, Theresa Scarborough; three sisters: Shirley Taylor (Ret. Presiding Elder James E.), Mary Clark (James), Doris Glover, one grandson, Christopher Burton; one nephew, Tommy Glass (Nicole), two grand nephews, Alex and Marcanthony Glass, a host of cousins, other relatives and devoted friends, including life long friend, Cynthia Scarborough.
