How is it that we never saw your wings

when you were here with us?

When you closed your eyes and soared

to the Heavens we could hear the

faint flutter of you wings as you left.

Your body no longer on this side

your spirit here eternally we see your halo shine.

We close our eyes and see the multi-colored wings

Surround us in our saddest moments and our happiest times.

Mother our angel God has given you your assignment

always our mother forever our angel.

You fly into our dreams and when we are asleep

We feel your wings brush against our face wiping away

the tears we shed since we can no longer hold

you in our arms but in our heart.

You earned those wings dear mother

and you will always be our angel eternal.

On the morning of December 7,2018 our dearest Debbie Hamilton, of Bluffton, SC, departed from this earthly life to receive her Angelic wings.

She is preceded in death by her parents Sye & Susie Simmons, and her sister; Betty Simmons.

Debbie leaves to mourn life-long memories to her loving husband, Mr. James Hamilton, her devoted children; Devashaun Hamilton, Jessie Hamilton, Devin Hamilton & Tracy Hamilton, her siblings; Princetta Greene, Abraham Simmons, Glays (Lewis) Brown, Theresa Simmons and a host of  family and friends.

There will be no public viewing  
  

All relatives and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 11:00am. at St. Matthew Baptist Church, 3709 Okatie Highway, Okatie, South Carolina, 29909. Interment Rephiraim Cemetery.
