James Brown

Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die.

I have sent up my gladness on wings, to be lost in the blue of the sky.

I have run and leaped with the rain, I have taken the wind to my breast.

My cheeks like a drowsy child to the face of the earth I have pressed.

Mr. James Brown, of Bluffton SC, gained his heavenly wings on the evening of September 7, 2018 surrounding by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his sister Angela Brown.

James leaves to cherish precious memories to his devoted wife Beverly Brown; his parents Abraham and Regina Brown; his son Cameron Mitchell, step-daughters, Asia Murphy and Erica James; two step-sons, Orlando Murphy and Akeem James, sisters; Thereatha Sanders(John) Lavern Owens (Kevin), Tish Brown and Lakeisha Robinson brothers; Jerome Warren (Rosalyn),Dewayne Cohen, Marcus Cohen(Angela), Abraham Brown(Vivian)and a host of sorrowing family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of life services  on Monday September 17, 2018 at 11:00 am. at First Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 10 Robertson Street, Bluffton, South Carolina.  Interment Jackville Cemetery, Bluffton, South Carolina
